The Kurhaus Hotel is built above the Arolla village at an altitude of approximately 2100 m. It is surrounded by a magnificent forest of Arolle pines. The building dates from 1896 but the interior has been completely redone in 1979 with full modern comfort. The rooms are nicely decorated and have at least one wall covered with wood from local trees: Arolle and Meleze issued from the old beams that were recovered during the renovation. The large terrasse is an ideal place to relax. The view on the surrounding summits : Pigne dArolla, Mont-Collon, Aiguille de la Tza, Dents de Veisivi, . is wonderful. The hotel is located at the start point of many walks and paths to the alpine huts. In addition to the usual facilities, the hotel includes a large conference room where seminars or congresses can be organized in a magnificent environment. Free wireless Internet access is available for our hosts. Additional information: Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 2-15 receive a 50 pct reduction. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
